after receiving a notice from Betty, that I was among the top ten in sells after the Christmas holiday, those customers that I had sold to, did not want to purchase as much. She removed MY online access to the account.

2004-2005 I just finally sent them a personal check to make them stop hounding me since none of the district managers were available to resolve the unfair charges made on an account they prematurely removed my access from.I never made the orders,The Avon account itself could not make orders and receive electronic payments...and Avon managers did not have access to my pin # to allow efts. to clear...Thank God they didn't or else I'd still be billed for whatever electronically.

Noone at Avon assists a "former represenative" after the managers determine to remove their access to place orders. I was left holding the "empty bag" from Avon, that I was billed for and never ordered. The company kept sending me notices of overdue and unpaid charges on the account that I could not access and did not recognize the delima.

Avon has what appeared to be some smoothe operaters when it came to selling the oportunity for women by a so-called "running your own business" scenerio with agressive amount of pushing their products on this former represenative. While most of the represenatives are out selling these good items the District managers are sitting back reaping in the profit gains from all the fees they charge to become a "respected sales lady". Christmas seemed to be a glorious time of the year for this one, thanks to the hard selling reps. under her after she's snagged enough worker bees to meet her district quota she goes into hiding. I doubt if the Company actually knows who's working for them in this type of business. Or if they do really care.

At first I thought it was a good way to earn extra money and sell a product that was truly a good product because I know of many who has sold it for years. That was way back last year, when a co-worker and friend invited me to join Avon and become a represenative under her.She was forced to quit as well after not meeting the managers same "expected sales" each and every month.

#3 UPDATE Employee

Untruth regarding purchases by District Manager Betty Vincent

AUTHOR: Kelly - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, June 12, 2010

When a particular account is not paid for 4 weeks which is 2 campaigns past due it is removed via company policy.  Marilyn had signed up and not paid the balance of this account and in return the company automatically removes the account.  This manager would not be rated in the top 10% of Managers if she hadn't worked with and encouraged all of her team.  This is a lie.  Marilyn needs to research her own invoices and figure them out in a timely manner.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

AVON-BETTY VINCENT-TOP 10% OF THE MANAGERS IN THE NATION FOR KENTUCKY

AUTHOR: Katy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 22, 2007

Under no circumstances would this manager Betty Vincent order products for any representative. I wanted to comment to this rip off report because I was an administrative assistant in this District at the time this incident took place. There are many representatives that when they sign the contract it clearly states on the back that you will submit an order every 2 weeks and pay for the order in full.

First, the company only requires $10 which pays for 2 months of working supplies to join and then they send you your orders with no money up front! When a representative doesn't pay for their order on time and place orders on time then there can be late fees because it's a bill that is past due. The other issue is that many representatives never pay the company at all for their balance.

This company helped me and my family through a difficult time to earn money to pay our bills with Betty Vincent as my mentor and trainer. I personally know that she and other managers work very hard and the pay doesn't compensate for the hours they work to help their teams. So, I am not sure what information or what this person believes the company owes them for allowing them to start their own business for $10 and provide free training, gifts and support but this is a definite untrue article about this manager and the company.
