DO NOT do business with this company and trust your hard work on an email list to them. They will take your money, ban you, keep your money and any work product you have until that time. Beware!!!

On May 11th, 2020, I made the decision to use an onlne company called Aweber for an autoresponder for my business. I presented a credit card and was charged $32.67.

After my account was established I tried to create a lead funnel offering some free software in return for opt'ing in to my email list. A simple list builder autoresponder and thank you page.

I tested. It seemed to work OK. Being new at this it took me a few tries to get tthe flow right from lead asset to delivery of the free software.

In the midst of trying to refine my list building I was suddenly shut out of my account.

I contcted Aweber who replied with an email simply stating:

I made another 2 attempts to try and AT LEAST find out what I had done wrong. I've never used an autoresponder so maybe I made some sort of mistake, but I can't see how. I followed Awebers video training and yet something was so wrong that Aweber banned me, closed my account AND kept my money without any explanation of any sort.

I know that Aweber is used by literally thousands of internet marketers an they enjoy a good reputation - BUT - as with most companies that get too obig they think they can do ANYTHING without consequences.

I am only one voice. Let it be known; I think this company is arrogant, rude, controlling to the extent you'd expect from a dictatorship and they expect NO consequence to thier actions.

Consider GetResponse or MailChimp or ANYONE but Aweber to handle your autoresponder or email needs because you may simply LOSE ALL OF YOUR WORK when they decide to ban you without warning or explanation.

Also, I notice they use one corporate name and 3 tradenames. I am currently researching the corporate records in PA., to determine the directors and/or executive officers of this company. I find that THOMAS M KULZER is both the listed owner and President of this company. Since they basically stole my money I am trying to get our corporate attorney to have them charged with wire fraud and theft here in Texas. I now have reports on this Thomas Kulzer, including his criminal history, as well as a list of aliases he has used.

Beware. They will rip you off. Keep your money, keep your work product, and like a despot, will tell you they don't have to give you a reason. Just 'shut up and don't come back.'

On November 12, 2019 you created a free account and attempted to import a list of
fake email addresses that had a 7% undeliverable rate (which is 14x higher than a legitimate
list would have). That account was immediately closed that same day due to violations of
our terms of service for sending unsolicited email. You were instructed at that time not
to use our services. Our terms of service explicitly says you do not get refunds for
violations of our terms of service.

On April 28, 2020 you created a 2nd free account. It was closed immediately as per our prior
instructions about not using our platform.

On May 8, 2020 you created a 3rd free account. It was closed immediately as per our prior
instructions about not using our platform.

On May 8, 2020 you created a 4th account and this time paid for the quarterly package in the
amount of $32.67. It was closed immediately as per our prior instructions about not
using our platform and is not due a refund due to your continued abuse of our platform.

The pattern of abuse on our platform from your activities is clear. They were not tolerated
and they will not be allowed to harm our other clients that operate their businesses
within our terms of service. If you feel you were unfairly charged I would suggest
taking that up with your credit card company as they have processes for resolving those
disputes.

I am totally new to internet marketing. I began trying to make money online after an Anuerysm that nearly killed me in 2013.. Had to retire from Capital One. Started trying to figure out online marketing in 2018.

I had never used an email autoresponder or a service like Aweber before November of 2019. In Novermber of 2019 I purchased an email list that was represented to me to be opt-in checked. Obviously, that was not correct. For this I take responsibility. I was very new and trying to learn. Aweber made this impossible since they refused to tell me what I had done wrong.

I can see where this conduct would be negative and I can agree that HAD I HAVE BEEN ADVISED that this was a problem and here is why I would have changed my process. I did this on my own when I determined that the list I had purchased was bunk. I didn't blatantly create a problem and I didn't continue once I learned about the list I had purchased being a scam.

I went back to tutoring. I wanted to learn how to market online. Most of the training told me the money was in the list so I tried an account at Aweber. I will swear, under oath, that I did NOT remember them banning me for something that happened in November when I was totally new. I applied for an account in innocence.

In May, I thought the problem with me having an account was that I had used free trials in the past so I decided to pay for the service. The rest is subject to my original post.

So, Ok, Tom, now that I know WHAT the problem is (from your point of view) I willl never use your service again. Fortunately, I am learning and there are other, far better, services out there for email list needs (eg. MailChimp and GetResponse).

You, sir, are a despot. You are a thief. And frankly, you need the money more than me so hang on to it unless I can get a criminal indictment against you here in Texas. If that happens I am going to smoke you a new one here in Parker County. If not, no loss. Another couple huindred dollars spent trying to stop an thief like yourself is a duty to me and not an obligation.

I sincerely apologize for any infraction I may have committed in the past. It was out of ignorance and not malicious. That said, I stand by my assessment. You are an a*****e, a thief and you consider yourself untouchable.

Well, Tom, I AM going to touch you. This is just starting.

Beware, people, Aweber and THOMAS M KULZER, are thieves. They will take your money and ban you without warning or reason. Just look at this filing!! It took a listing on ripoff report for them to finally even tell me what I was supposed to have done to be treated like this.

Keep an eye on this space. I have ALL of THOMAS M KULZERS' corporater records, complete crininal background (and he does have one) as well as assets and relatives and associates. I have his addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. I have his credit reccord. More of his history will come out in subsequent reports with the exception of personal data. I am, after all, not a criminal like THOMAS M KULZER is.

Do NOT do business with this crook.
