Ballys Fitness I am my mothers sole provider and caretaker.... shortly after I joined Bally's my mother had bad stroke and I had to give all of my spare time after work tending to her... This was not planned and there was no way for me to attend Ballys as I had planned due to the fact that my home was 30 or more miles from my work and where I joined Ballys. I could not go to Ballys and tend to my mother as well.. Pineville North Carolina

When I joined Ballys and fully planned to attend my mother had a very bad stroke...I am my mothers sole provider and caretaker and I live in Lancaster, SC and my work is in Pineville, NC and about 30 or more miles away...All of my spare time is spent with my mother...My understanding was that I could cancel if I had any problems and my mother while not being a problem because I love her that I could get out of the contract...Please help me...These are the most ruthless people I have ever dealt with.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Call your local news station

This happened to someone in MI, and it was all over the news. Someone in this lady's family was diagnosed with cancer, and she had only had the membership for 30 days and never used it once. She was in the same spot as you, had to spend all her extra time and money helping out, and she tried to cancel the contract but they wouldn't let her. She called a local news station, and they were able to get Bally's to cancel the contract for no cost.
Bally's is also in the middle of a lawsuit right now, for contract issues I believe. They don't want anymore bad press.
