BankPlus Bank Plus BankPlus Overdraft Fees, NSF Fees, Stacking the Deck: This bank still practices something called “Stacking the Deck” where clever software reviews accounts (especially older ones) for TRENDS such as, when deposits are made and during which periods the account “barely floats” (low balance until next direct deposit) In my case, I haven't spend anything on my account in a few days and I check my balance all the time, I had over 400 dollars and I checked it again today and all of my money is gone! I called and what they said is that I hit overdraft IMPOSSIBLE!! They have taken over 300 dollars from me! Jackson Mississippi

This bank still practices something called “Stacking the Deck” where clever software reviews accounts (especially older ones) for TRENDS such as, when deposits are made and during which periods the account “barely floats” (low balance until next direct deposit) I had over 400 dollars in my account and this morning when I checked they told me I was in the negative and didn't have anything in it. I haven't spent money in days and was saving to go out of town!

You said you had not spent money in days, yet I see debits on what you posted for the 18th and 19th for pizza, for itunes and internet service and for all kinds of expenditures. It is your responsibility to have a separate log of each of your debits and credits. This log can be electronic or hand written. It is referred to as a 'bank account register' and is free at your bank. If you don't know what I am talking about, take the time to learn about balancing and reconciling your account. I will say this: just because you don't swipe your debit card it doesn't mean that other expenses that you have previously set up are canceled. I am referring to automatic payments. Until you learn how to handle a bank account, cancel your automatic payments and handle those payments manually (manually make the ach payment) so you can control the date the payment is sent to your creditor.
TLDR: Learn how to manage your bank account so you don't get those fees.

Actually I do check my account. On the app, on the actual website, in person, and over the phone. The fact is they are taking money out of my account that they shouldn't. There is another report on this site that explains in detail exactly what they did to me have have done to many others.

The only way to avoid overdraft fees is to STOP relying on online balances and keep an acccurate CHECK REGISTER plus balance your bank statement. YOU are at fault for this. And NO I do not work for them.
