i found my name listed at bankruptreport.com. They have assigned me a URL that will pull up my name and address!

If you wish to contact them to remove the URL (which only webmasters can do), they direct you to three companies, CleanSearch.net, removebankruptcies.com, and internetreputation.com, which (surprise, surprise) will remove the negative URL for a fee. I have no direct evidence (yet), but my guess that these companies operate in tandem, and that one division will post negative information, and the others will remove it for a fee. In the US, this is called extortion and is illegal.
