I went to Barber Ford to have my front breaks done. I had many errands to run that day so I dropped my car off and before bringing in car was told it would cost me around 200-300 for my breaks to be done. I rented a car, and later was called and told just for the front breaks they wanted $405.00. This was not including my back breaks ladies and gentleman. Yes, I need new rotors and pads but a total of all would of costed me close to 800.00 I was livid. I needed the breaks done.
So I told them to just wait on the back ones and only do the front for now. I later told my husband of this he was livid too. They knew we were a military family for one, and have purchased 2 cars from Ford in the last 5 years one all in cash.
When, I got back to the dealership they told me they had already rotated those rotors but weren't going to charge me but I desperately needed to get some pads on those right away. How convenient they didn't charge me and how sweet of them after my husband I believe had a few words with them.
So disappointed in FORD! Will never go there again!

Those are just the facts. Problem is, companies like Brake Check or Just Brakes are even worse. It's better to find a smaller shop (get recommendations from your friends) because they won't gouge you as much and are more needing of your continued business.
