I was contacted recently about "Winning" a Lottery drawing connected to a rental car company that I recently rented from in Los Angeles, CA. I have already contacted the rental car company and they are aware of the infiltration of their internet systems.

They also seemed to have planted a Fake website to promote Barrister Jude Bliss at http://www.judeblisslaw-org.co.cc/profile.htm (who, when you click on the legal links and search for him, does not actually exist). Also, there is no contact information on the website to inform BR. Bliss of his unfortunate identity theft (because he doesn't really exist). Why would a Barrister advertise himself on the internet and not inform us of a way to contact him??

The ripoff was that they wanted me to send them my bank account number and identification so they could make sure I am the rightful winner of their lottery. If you google the Reference number on the lottery winnings, you get a LOT of scam webpages that pop up.

I did do some corresponding with the Scamsters and attempted to have them deposit my "winnings" via Paypal (no worries, I didn't give them my password---which is VERY secure), but they didn't take the bait just yet. SO...I found this wonderful website that is FREE that lets you track where the e-mails are coming from. It's called whoreadme.com. What you do is register your e-mail address and send them an e-mail through that website and it tracks their IP address and automatically tells you when they opened the e-mail and where they are located. Not only did this disturb me because they had my home address and telephone number, but I have no idea what they could do with it. Luckily this has happened to me in the last few days of my residency in the state in which I reside. I am utterly SHOCKED that this happened to me. Needless to say, I sent them a VERY nasty message back and informed them of my retaliation to come.
