Basco Shower Doors Basco's shoddy installation crew ruined my brand new marble shower walls with their leaky product Ripoff Mason Ohio

I spent over $1000 on a glass shower door manufactured and installed by this company. Their installation crew installed non-stainless screws which immediately began causing rusty water to leak out. They "fixed it," and again, same problem. When they came back, they removed the entire unit and scratched and gouged my new marble walls and shower pan with utility knives and razor blades. They refused to replace the walls and pan, and sent in a "repair guy" who SANDED my new marble walls until they were ruined. They wouldn't do anything further. I sued them, and won a judgment, although the judge did not award enough money to replace the walls. With ruined walls and no shower door, I asked them to at least refund the money for the shower door. They refused to do so. They re-delivered a "new unit," but when it arrived, it was the same glass panels with new metal borders. The glass was scratched. I contacted them, and got no response. Finally, after 6 months with no shower, I donated the shower door to Habitat for Humanity, and went to another distributer and bought and installed a completely different product for an additional $1000 - they did a perfect job, with one visit. Now, I have a nice shower door, but my walls are still damaged. After over 6 months dealing with Basco, I was out of luck for both the damaged walls and the leaky shower door. I would highly recommend NOT using Basco Shower Doors - in my view, they have poor workmanship, poor customer service, and they DON'T stand behind their product.
