***BUYER BEWARE*** The owner, Steve Pearson, of Bath Tune-Up Niceville, Gulf Breeze, Pensacola has successfully defrauded my wife and me out of $48,000.00. Unfortunately we were one of his first customers and had no online reviews to go by. His company has performed zero work and provided zero materials since we gave him our deposit money almost one full year ago when they first opened. He has consistently lied to us and put us off throughout this whole process because he apparently spent our deposit money for personal use and, according to a former employee, has been grossly overcharging other customers to try to make enough money to eventually begin our project. Which never happened. The owner attempted to serve this former employee a cease and desist letter to prevent them from communicating with us which they refused to sign.

We have filed formal complaints with The Florida State Attorney General, The Okaloosa County District Attorney, The Florida Division of Consumer Services, The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Dept., etc. We are also filing a formal claim against his bond with The Florida State Homebuilders Association.

We sold our house four months ago and gave him the opportunity to make it right with us by doing $48,000.00 worth of work to our new house. As of now, he will not return our emails where we simply demand our materials so we can have another contractor, whom we can trust, do the job for us. We have received phone calls from two different former employees of his, who have informed us that he used our money to take an expensive family vacation to Disney World and to purchase his Bath Tune-Up company car. They also informed us that he has defrauded other customers as well as employees and openly discusses how he has done so. He's currently being investigated by his corporate franchiser whom we've have been in contact with regularly.

The owner will no doubt respond to this review, but no lie that he makes up will change the fact that he stole $48,000.00 from us and provided us with no materials or labor whatsoever. Do not hire this company. ***BUYER BEWARE***
