STAY AWAY FROM Beach Haven Apartments in Brooklyn.
Stay away from those apartments, this is the worse place to live. They rent apartments thought DSJ Realty, LLC, I personally dealt with Moysha.

The floor and the ceiling are so thin that you can hear every little step of your neighbors from upstairs, and if they wearing shoes with hills, it will be that loud that you will want to get the hell out of your apartment as soon as possible.

You can even hear how people from downstairs watching a TV, and I got lucky I had old Russian couple living downstairs, so at least I was listening Russian channels all evening. Yes, the sound is pretty clear.

You cannot watch a tv after 10 because all your neighbors go to sleep and if you are watching a movie they will start banging on the ceiling with stick mop, and because the ceiling is very thin, this sound is like an earth quake for you, so you CANNOT ignore that. You cannot invite friends, because again they will start banging, you cannot do anything, at the end was thinking every time I wanted to get up of the chair.

But it's not even the worse part. The worse part is in my bedroom, the hardwood floor of my upstairs neighbors was making horrible squicking noises, and this noise was even louder in my bedroom, so the worse part is that the guy from upstairs had to get up 2 times at night to take a piss, and the noise was so loud that I had to get up with him every night. I almost lost a job because I was constantly sleepy.

After first week with no sleep I made a complaint to the management and that was a biggest mistake. They made him put a carpet, and he came down to me with treats, because I MADE him spend money now on the carpet. We agreed that he has to put the carpet at least in the bedroom.
And do you think it helped? NO, it helped him, because he added one more layer from the noise of hardwood floors and I have the same horrible sound every night.

After that I told him first that I'm going to a management with this problem and he said that if I will, he will make my life hell, of course I did not go to management but even I would, they can't do anything.
It was the most horrible place I ever lived in. and they have all building like this, not only my apartment. I talked to a lot of people in this neighborhood.
I end up breaking the lease after 6 month of hell, and paying 2 month of rent as a penalty, so PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM Beach Haven Apartments in Brooklyn.
