My wife and I bought several artworks from Bella Art at an event at Direct Buy. We were told that they are limited edition and valued at thousands of dollars. We thought we were getting a great deal so we bought a few artworks.

We took the artwork to a local gallery to have them framed in larger frames and were shocked to find out the artwork are not worth the prices we paid at all. The gallery had an identical artwork for less than half the price we paid.

On top of that, the gallery owner advised us that the other prints were all forgeries and not worth framing.

Buyers be ware, this company is a scam.

You Shouldn't Believe Local Dealers

I cant tell you how many times i have gotten calls from people wanting to authenticate a piece of art that they bought at an auction or show and then brought to a local gallery.   9 times out of 10 the gallery will tell them their art is fake or way over priced.

Most galleries do not have credentials to authenticate art.  Only experts, the artists and their publishers can do that, not a gallery sales person or even the owner.

It is to their best interest to tell you its fake.  I have found that although auctioneers may embellish from time to time, selling fakes is not in their best interest for long term sustainment of their companies.

Instead of filing a "rip off report" how about asking the auctioneer for more proof of authenticity and worse comes to worse if you still have "buyers remorse"  why not see if the company will stand behind their product and refund you when you send the art back.

As far as paying too much, remember if you are in an auction setting, it is the auctioneers job to take the bidding as high as market will allow.  If you paid too much because you love the art or got caught up in the excitement, then you should bear the burden for that.

Sorry not to be on the side of Charles but this is all too common.  And to make these blanket statements with no specifics to back him up, his credibility to me is in question.   Posting derogatory and unsubstantiated claims on the internet is irresponsible, liablis and downright wrong.

As owner and operator of Bella Fine Art I would like the following to be noted. Bella Fine Art has never sold any art that is anything other than authentic and legitimate and, any claim made to the contrary is simply false. We have always and will always, continue to represent the artwork that we sell accurately. To date, Bella Fine Art has not received any direct claim from any of its customers that any of the artwork that we have sold is not authentic, legitimate or, falsely represented (until reading this post). In fact, every work of art that Bella Fine Art sells come with a certificates of authenticity and a lifetime authenticity guarantee.

On our certificates of authenticity the following is stated and, each is certificate is signed by an authorized or founding member of Bella Fine Art;"Bella Fine Art certifies that the item described herein is authentic, genuine, and 100% accurate to its description. It has been obtained either directly from the artist, publisher, artist-estate, assignee, or an otherwise reputable source. If this item is proved to be other than as represented Bella Fine Art will offer replacement or refund the original buyer in full as per its 100% lifetime authenticity guarantee." However, Bella Fine Art has never been contacted by anyone in the history of our organization to suggest that anything that we have sold has been misrepresented or illegitimate. Therefore, we are left to believe that this claim is an attempt by a competitor or some otherwise disgruntled individual to undermine the legitimacy of Bella Fine Art and specifically one of its founding members Manuel Rodriguez.

If this posting was written by an actual customer then we encourage you to please contact us immediately and we will gladly address any of your issues and concerns as the satisfaction of our customers has always been our top priority. We remain committed to our customers and the legitimacy of our company, our products, and our reputation.
