We like all first time home buyers did not know much about purchasing a home. In 1997 we blindly signed paper after paper and where going to own our dream home. We raised our 3 children their and 8 years later we would loose our home, Ending our marriage.

We paid $671.00 per month for 8 years at 11% on a home that was supposed to be a $37,000 purchase price(a double trailer) for a 15 year term. After 8 years we now owe $61,000. The home is in foreclosure. Our lives and financial ability are crippled and our credit is ruiened. So much for the American Dream or Greed. If only we would have met someone honest to guide us through the process.
