Beneficial ripoff London Ohio

I went to beneficial to get help with reducing my bills monthly and i sat down with a loan officer and she gave my girlfreind a small loan to help us at the moment until our refinance loan could close. The loan she gave us was a very high interest loan wich she garanteed we would not make the first payment on because we would close before it was due.

We asked her to garantee the refinance or we would not take the loan because it was a higher rate than what we have now and she did. About one week later she called me and said it was approved and we set up a time for the appraiser to come. So we took her word for it and used our bill money to improve our home. The appraiser did come and turned his report. Two weeks went bye and no word so i called to check up and she said they were waiting on the underwriters to sign off on it but there was no problem. Another week went on so i called again only to get to talk to her boss so i explaind the story to him and he promised it would get done in 3 days.

One week later nothing accomplished so i kept calling everyday for a few more weeks and everytime it was somethingelse holding it up. Finally he called and set up a time to close at 7.00 pm on a thursday night. Thursday came and at 4:30pm he called and said computers were down no way to print up the paperwork i needed to sign to close so i agreed and waited untill friday morning and called and his secretary told me computers were up and everything was fine so i left work to go get this done. I was in there parking lot at 2:00 pm waiting on him to show up. His secretary said he was due in at 11:00 am but hasnt showed up yet so i waited and at 2:30pm he pulled in and at 3;30pm he said he needed a payoff statement on my mortgage by 4:00pm knowing they already told him it was coming on the fax but would not arrive in time and the uderwriters left at 4:00pm. So i had no choice but to go home and wait untill monday.

Monday morning i found out that he had been moved to another store for the week so my original loan officer took it back over and said he had lied about everything and there was nothing they could do for us now. That left us in serious financial hurt because we spent bill money on the house because she garanteed we would get the loan and now im worse off than before with an extra loan with an outrageous intrest rate that i cant afford im far behind on everything else. I dont know if there is anything i can do about this but i am checking into it.
