My husband and I tried to get custody of our granddaughters after their parents were arrested for murdering their other daughter. We both cooperated with the police. ( In fact, I called the police 5 months before the baby's murder to check on her and was told she was fine. She was not. ) CYS invited us to go through the kinship process for custody, however they NEVER met with us. They lied REPEATEDLY. They accused and continue to accuse me of not seeking help for the baby. 

They accused and continue to accuse me of seeing bruises on the baby and not seeking help.  I wasn't even allowed to see her when she had the injuries, her parents banned me due to my call to the police, yet they STILL falsely accuse me. (Yet they don't have an issue with the cop who saw her when she had injuries, but didn't see them. ) In the end, they placed the girls with their paternal aunt/uncle who never wanted anything to do with them before.  And they didn't have the decency to tell me when they made the decision. 

I filed a lawsuit against them for custody of the girls. Emily Schilling wrote in an email that she was cutting my visits with the girls to ruin any chance of us getting custody.  That' didn't work-the judge refused to lower my visits. She couldn't lower my visits but she, Ganter and Gallagher removed my parents and my husband form the girls lives. And they slung all kinds of lies and false accusations against us.

We were accused of bringing fleas to the visits, i was accused of not properly feeding the baby correctly, we were accused of causing behavioral issues with our oldest granddaughter, even though her prior foster mother testified she was fine after our visits but had MAJOR issues after visits with her aunt/uncle who are now set to adopt her. 

In fact, due to those behavioral issues the judge ordered the girls to only spend 1 overnight at their aunt and uncles prior to moving in to see if the behavorial issues would stop. CYS ignored this order and moved the girls full time, immediately.   (SO many other lies/accusations) CYS got 3 of my custody hearings cancelled. I finally had another scheduled for last month.  And the kicker is, after a few months of the girls being with their aunt and uncle, my husband and I dropped the custody lawsuit. 

We support and agree with their aunt/uncle adopting them. They had no interest in them before but they do now.  They love the girls and the girls love them.  But we still wanted visitation with them and hoped that would happen in May. Instead, CYS told they judge there are unanswered questions regarding my granddaughter's murder, implying involvment/participation on my part so he ceased our visists entirely. 

However, we know for a fact the aunt/uncle told the judge they don't want us around the kids. They said I'm rude and turn my back on them. And I do. Because they banned their own kid's grandmother from seeing her grandchildren for YEARS and I didn't want htat to happen to us.  I was so afraid to speak to them and say something wrong so i said next to nothing.  I planned on asking them to dinner so we could all talk once a visitation agreement was in place but that never happened.

  CYS lied and implied to the judge involvement (in the murder) on my part so now we're gone and cannot see our granddaughters.  These people lied repeatedly...made false accusations against me...slandered me...violated a court order by the judge.  And they're also allowing my granddaughter's paternal grandmother to have full access to them, even though she witnessed her son attack my pregnant daughter in her house, even though a neighbor called 911 when her son attacked my daughter and she bailed him out.  And she did nothing about it.

The same way she did nothign when her husband repeatedly abused their sons.  These people are monsters and evil.  I called the police when my granddaughter could still be saved and the police failed her.  And now CYS has the balls to blame me and make sure our family never sees the girls again.  I was warned way back when this all started as to how corrupt Berks CYS is.  And that warning came from 2 people in law enforcement, not to mention a few attorneys as well.  There is SO much more I could write here about the B.S. they pulled and their lies . They need to be stopped.
