I was a victim of a rip off through purchasing at bestbuy.com and my bank Wahcovia authorized my debit card for the charges.

Walk-Over-Ya

Yes, "Walk-0ver-Ya" Bank is famous for this kind of "customer dis-service". Anyone who banks with them is quite foolish.

Seems to be Wachovia's Fraud protection not a Best Buy Rip Off

AUTHOR: Pony - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 09, 2007

It sounds like you have an issue with Wachovia's fraud protection. If it's an online transaction there is no way to prove your identity. It's unfortunate you were a victim of this fraud but Best Buy has no way of telling if it's you or not.

same type of problem

AUTHOR: M - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 09, 2007

I had the same type of problem wachovia allowed multiple fraudulent charges go thru in the some of over $2300 from enterprise rent a car. when i disputed them with the bank there Loss Prevention team found i was liable for the charges with out talking to me or asking for any evidence to back up my claim. i have tried every thing but to no avail until i threatened a lawsuit then they (the bank) reversed the charges. eneterprise rufused to talk to me about the charges because my name was not on the contract as the renter. when i pushed for more info they told me to leave and called the police on me. so i am now looking for a lawyer in the winston salem area to sue both places.
