As usual, anything that you buy from Best buy, they try their best to sell their protection plan and say everything under the sun is covered.
Now when you take the total protection plan who will decide the degree of accidental damage...


Now, I purchased my Macbook and protection plan for $2300...
I damaged my laptop due to some mishandling....
When I went up to them, they sent it to service, I was told that laptop was submerged in water....

Now, what to do...
not a penny from $2300 is covered...

all i could say is it was WORST BUY

I got $200 refund on the item I reported.

Laura called me from customer service and gave me a service gesture of $200 on any laptop I purchase.
However, my loss was big but we hardly inquire or read the terms of such contract.
Every protection plan has limitations.
We must go through it.

So, you dropped your laptop in to something that got it wet and they won't replace it now?

I'm pretty sure customer error like this is not the intent of accident insurance.

Read your policy, I'm sure it stated this.
