First off..wonderful detail in this report it makes everything so clear. But just to be sure everyone is on the same page, let's make sure I have this right.
You took your laptop to Best Buy for repair. At some point it was lost. So you called them on 2/3/2008. Then in last year and 3 months they never called you back so you came here to write a report.
As I said you already have great detail, but perhaps you could add a bit more. Such as did you ever try and call them again? Or what they said when you did call them.
