Best Buy (Garden State Plaza) They took back the product and didn't give me a refund, and now they act like I was never there. Paramus New Jersey

I went to the Best Buy at Garden State Plaza, to return three items, one of the items was a home theater in a box, that cost 499.99. The girl at the customer service took back the item and instead returned the Home Theater setup. Which leaves me out of 499.99. I failed to realize what had happened right away, and it took me 11 days to notice it on my credit card statement. As soon as I realized I went to the store, and said that I wasn't refunded the money, they accused me of trying to steal money from the store.

The manager that I spoke to said that he would make sure that I wouldn't get my money back, and claimed that they weren't over one or under in the inventory count, which I can't verify. I asked him to please check the tape as to prove what I am saying is true, and he said no one can make him check the tape, and if he does it will be when he wants.

Dispute the charge with your credit card company. I would also go up the chain and contact Best Buy's corporate office.
