I had a reservation with the named establishment for a king sized bed for 3 days and 2 nights. When I checked in on the first date of my vacation, I was given a room with 2 queen sized beds, with no working lights. I was told that someone messed up my reservation, and they therefore could not rent me a room with a king sized bed. Regarding the lighting, they said I could wait until the following day (after I would have stayed one night in a room with no lights) and then they would have someone fix the lighting. The hotel was unwilling to do anything for me to make this better. The worst service I have ever received at a hotel in my life.

I was issued a refund from Best Western Corporate 2 months later.  The hotel itself was unwilling to do anything about the situation.  I will never stay at that specific hotel again, however, Best Western itself retained me as a customer.

I left out the fact that they charged me the full price for one evening for the rental of the room, despite the situation at hand, and the fact that I ended up checking out about 30 minutes after I had checked in.
