I received a cashier's check for 3,800 dollars and was told that I had won the shopper's lotto along with 10 others. I was asked to deposit the check by the coming Friday so I could receive payment by the following Monday. If it sounds too good to be true well you know the rest. I went on line and confirmed my suspicions that this was fraud. The cashier's check was issued from Mellon Bank N.A. in Pittsburg, PA. I do not know what courses of action one can take, and will talke to my post commander tomorrow and maybe prevent any other military personnel from being taken to the bank (so to speak) Thank you.
