Bigboy Diesels advertised a 2008 Jeep Rubicon online.  The photos and vidoe looked great.  I wanted the Rubicon for it's well known offroad ability.

When the Jeep was shipped to me, I realized it wasn't a Rubicon...it wasn't even 4x4.

I contacted Alex immediately. He said to read the paperwork that he sold me a Wrangler.  My response was that a Rubicon is a Wrangler.  His ad clearly said Rubicon.  The big red letters on the hood clearly say Rubicon.

Sounds like fraud to me

Take him to court. Unwind that deal. I am a consumer just like you and the best way to get these people out of business is to not buy site unseen in the first place. However, since the deal is done, take him to court to unwind the sale. These scammers are everywhere in the auto sales industry. They seem to be worse now than they were before the internet. JMO. They will keep scamming unless the consumers fight back and put them out of business. it is so bad in some areas of Florida that I don't even look at a vehicle if its listed in one of those areas: eg. anywhere in Miami-Dade and most of Broward counties. You know you are going to get ripped off because it is SOP in those areas. Again, JMO.
