I'm a US Navy Veteran, and I don't know who to ask for help. I'm not sure if your office can help:
https://xoxocar.com/inspection/22e7c616-5c2c-4455-96ab-b8e5177f0441?sb=rtg&b=0

I bought this truck "as-is," from Country Auto in Blair, NE. However, if you look at all the problems, or read this summary:

Your engine oil is leaking, whole motor is soaked top to bottom and leaking all over ground, needs to be degreased; oil pan has hole.
Your front shocks are worn out.
Your front shocks are leaking
Your front sway bar is broken...Your stabilizer frame bushings are loose
Your rear shocks are worn out
Your stabilizer frame bushings are loose...Your stabilizer links are loose
Replace steering stabilizer shock
Replace drag link
Replace steering gear box
Replace pitman arm
Replace front driveshaft u-joints
Replace left front axle shaft u-joint
Replace right front axle shaft u-joint
The hanger on your exhaust is broken, Your exhaust is leaking. Replace muffler.

It should be reasonable to expect the truck to drive, and not stall out anywhere between 2 - 6 times a day! And for a dealership to sell a truck with all of these issues...

I've been trying, for some months, as able, to find a resolution, but with it "as-is," I seem to be SOL...

We went back and forth, when there was problems with funding. They actually had the balls to say "my truck." Who paid for it? I put money in, so I have an interest in it. I figured I'd drop the financing, which took it from $8k - about $17k!--and buy it...according to them "a lot of people would want it."

Look at the list, look at the pictures. Is this a stealership you'd want to buy from?

You're antifa/blm party is missing you.

AUTHOR: Eddie - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, July 11, 2021

I have every right to include the fact that I'm a veteran. You don't like it, too bad! Obviously, you have nothing better to do with your life, than look for people who are having problems, and try and make yourself better than them. Your ANTIFA/BLM party is calling you, snowflake.

And if you don't like my complaint, don't read it, or reply, whiner. I have every right to complain, and warn others not to do business with people that screw over people. You're content to let people, especially the auto industry, screw over people, and get away with "as-is" as an excuse to unload crap on unsepecting people. I'm well in my rights to warn people to never do  busienss with them, and let them be run out of business. Since that's unlikely that the corrupt auto industry on a whole, and Cuntry Auto in particular, will ever be accountable, the best I can do is allow those who are researching the stealership to know what sort of crap they pull, and to do business elsewhere.

Freedom of speech. A REAL veteran would get it. A liberal lunatic would attempt to stifle it.

No Need For The Sympathy Card

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 07, 2021

You being a veteran HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS! Thanks for insulting those Veterans who would NEVER play that game because they didn’t get their own way! You say this was an AS IS purchase. Apparently you have no clue what this means.

The paperwork will contain a Disclosure which tells you ALL REPAIRS ARE ON YOU! Apparently you didn’t bother to read that! The second you sign the paperwork, YOU bought the car and YOU bought the problems. It’s not that hard of a concept to understand!

Get lost spammer

AUTHOR: Eddie - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, June 14, 2021

If you are not the company, stop spamming with garabge. Unless you actually have some useful advise, troll elsewhere.

The truck, at the time, didn't have any issues. I took it on the freeway. Turned each direction. There were no problems until about a week later. Obviously, the truck was in worse shape than what it first appeared to be. I just got the sh*t went south.

Brief Test?

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, June 13, 2021

Apparently, that "brief test" didn't include turning the truck to the left or to the right. A prepurchase inspection would have revealed the oil-soaked engine and loose muffler.

Hopefully this incident has taught you to properly test and inspect your next vehicle prior to purchase.

Tested

AUTHOR: Eddie - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, June 11, 2021

I took a brief test, and it did ok. It had some rust and dings, being that it's a 2000.

However, within a week, it started to randomnly stall, leak oil, and some other issues.

I took it in for a diagnosis, and the thing has a bunch of things that are falling apart, as is hihglighted in the mechanic's diagnosis! But it's "as-is."

Initially, my in-law thought he could handle it, and went through a few minor things, although it took a lot of time, especially to take of bigger pieces off the engine to get to the smaller parts, then to put it back on. Not solving the problems, I took it in, and got that list.

Obvious Question

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, June 10, 2021

How did the truck perform during the test-drive?

With all the things you listed it should have been a noisy and uncomfortable test-drive. Steering and turning should have been difficult.
