My insurance company has been delaying payments on all my bills for over six months . yesterday they sent me a letter saying that they have been reviewing a claim for hyperlipidemia.I had never heard the term before so i looked it up. In essence they aren't paying my bills because I apparently have high colesterol.or something and that it was a preexisting condition.Another way of saying it is that
they won't pay my doctors bills because I'm fat and I was fat before I got my policy.Isn't that discrimanation ?
They knew my stats before I got the policy I don't get it.

"Fat" is not a preexisting condition.
Sounds like your managed care company is playing the game of "attrition" with you.
DO NOT GIVE UP!!!- they are trying to weasel out of paying your bill. They are hoping you will pay it first.
My advice is to complain! It is discrimination. Plenty of thin people have high cholesterol, and many overweight people have a normal cholesterol. Weight has little to do with this medical condition.
Regardless of your weight, it is good preventative medicine for managed care to COVER care for high cholesterol.

Did you ever see a Doctor before you got insurance??
As you stated you are "fat" and being "fat" will generally come with all sorts of health problems ie - diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol
Therefore it is a pre-existing condition period
No rip off
