Blue Haven Pools ripoff artists,slow as molasses,never get a job done Simi Valley California

Our Contract was signed Oct 21, 2004 and Excavation began Dec, 17th 2004. Our pool is STILL not finished. We are just now getting our deck in and it is going on 6 months. Everything started out fine with the dig and then our Contractor was let go without explanation. It took us two weeks of unanswered calls to get the company to even contact us and when they did, they sounded as if they didn't know who we were.

We finally got a replacement who has no clues about pools.With all the rain we had this winter, our pool was left with tons of water and we didn't have a large enough water pump to keep up with it. We even ended up with our rebar sinking at one point. % 1/2 weeks of no work from the company we finally got guys to work on our pool and found out that they had this heavy duty pump that drained our pool magically in less than 15 minutes, but the ground was sturated and we were now being blamed for all the water and that it was "coming off our hill"

At dig time and rebar placement we never had water.
We have had constant trouble trying to get them to return calls. We have even tried their 1-800-543-3883 Customer Care Line and got names and left multiple messages for Barbara Turner and Allison King but have not heard from either one after 22 phone calls since Jan 2005. I have even been reduced to having to make all MY phone calls in the from of a fax. I have to write it and drive to Kinkos because I don't have a fax (which is past the Blue Haven Office by the way) just to ask questions.

They show up unannounced and then don't show up when they should. I have had to clean up a bunch of trash constantly in my back yard. I just want my pool to be done and have filed a complaint against their bond, a complaint to the licencing board, and now the BBB. Our Annual fourth of July celebration was canceled and our yard is a mess. If you are thinking of using this company.......Don't. They have made us so unhappy and stressed that it is really effecting our lives.
Now we are worried what kind of problems we will have in the future and are looking to get a lawyer to take our case to protect us in the future. All I can say is thank goodness I have kept a daily log and journal since this project first started. It will show how their job was handled
