Booksy booksy,com booksy app Booksy designed for scammers to rob you Ft Worth TX

Some of you may have heard of Booksy.  Its a newer app site that takes service providers like barbers, stylists, massuses, pet services, or 16 other categlories they list.  They want businesses listed of free and customers booking through this so that they make the ad money.  So here is the truth of what happened to me and what Booksy did about it.

About a month ago i wanted to get a massage and i didnt want to leave the house so i downloaded the app to check this out.  They actually had a very robust mobile massage section .  The more you narrow it down the more Booksy will narrow down the field to who is the "best" match.  I did this and had 3 massage busineses that all had pages on Booksy with hours and basic info. 

I picked one and they said they could come that same day I had to call them since it was same day and the booksy sight had them closing in less than a hour, which was when they said they did the mobile part.  It all made sense until i said i wanted to pay with a credit card .  They said that they would have to take payment prior since booksy didnt have.  I immediately went back to booksy and could not find a way to make it work.  I did not want to give open card info like that so they suggested I buy a gift card for $100.  I know i have heard to that scam before but after thinking it through and thinking that if booksey led me to them its got to be ok, so i did it.

It was not ok.  I had logged onto booksey to let them lead to me the provider that best fits me and i did not think I was being lead straight to a thief that was relying on me thinking that booksy could be trusted.  I went to let booksy know what occurred.  i got what appeared to be a sincere letter from booksy.  They even wanted to help me and reinburse my loss.  This also did not last.  In next few days they became harder to reach even acting like they didnty recall a email or the sitution. 

 It really upsets me when a company says they will do something that wasnt asked for but then acts like they had no responsibility for anything and sends me an updated terms and conditions. They did decide to do nothing and the terms now read to the effect that they just set up an app and dont know anything about anything else so are never responsible for a outcome that their app set you up for.  I would have never contacted the thiefs that robbed me if they were not led to me on booksy.  Worst part is ive continued t0 look at the list of providers and they have more businesses on there that are clearly scammers (to the people they already robbed).  I saw 5-10 in each section i looked.  These booksy people have no businesss running a business.  They  dont have good business sense or the would have done what they said and you would be reading a great review for them now.  Instead Ill simply end by saying its now worth it to use them . The old way wasnt broke  but their way is.
