Boyajian Law Offices, Aka JBC & Associates ripoff--fraudulent collection for amt supposedly owed AMES Store Rutherford New Jersey

I received a collection notice from JBC and Associates 5 years after they claimed I owed a returned check to AMES Dept Store. When I denied the claim, they added it to my credit report. When I disputed it recently through Experian, they updated the claim under the new name Boyajian Law Offices. Because they re-entered it on my credit report, a new date of 4/05 was entered. This lowered my credit score by almost 50 points! Help! What do I do about this to get it off my report and credit score for this bogus claim?
