I am looking to buy a new house, and low and behold - BP/Citi shows up on my history as having an account since 1997, with multiple deliquincies. The bad thing is is that I have NEVER had an account with BP oil or Citi Bank, and have attempted three times to get this removed! I have already disputed this, both with all three credit reporting agencies, and with BP/Citi themselves. The customer service people at BP/Citi were rude to me without reason.
