I had received a couple of non-answered cell phone calls, finally followed by one call in which a message was left by a fellow named Brad.  He had seen my ad on an auto sales website and decided to give me a call saying that he could easily sell my car (which is a 1956 sports car in pieces) without a problem.  All I had to do was to pay a small fee up front - he didn't say how much and they would have it sold very quickly as they have contacts all over and would find someone to buy my car.  I didn't buy it at all.  Checked it out on the web and just like I thought - if it smells like a rat, it's a rat.
