Bradenton Veterinary Emergency Hospital, Dr. Amy Mendez, Dr. Patricia Anderson, Dr. Ashley Kanzler. Veterinary Negligence and Deceptive Practices at Veterinary Emergency Bradenton Florida

In May 2024, my beloved dog, Siren, tragically passed away due to alleged malpractice at Bradenton Veterinary Emergency (BVE) in Bradenton, Florida. Siren required a cesarean section due to complications during labor, but her care was mishandled at every step. Despite showing signs of life-threatening anemia following surgery, she was prematurely discharged and sent home without proper warnings or adequate pain management.

Her condition rapidly deteriorated, and I rushed her back to BVE for emergency surgery. Staff assured me that blood transfusions were available to save her life. This turned out to be false. Siren passed away from uncontrolled blood loss due to the lack of necessary blood products. Her loss was entirely preventable, as confirmed by independent expert reviews.

Adding insult to injury, BVE appears to have engaged in deceptive practices to suppress negative reviews online. Honest reviews have been removed from Google and Facebook, creating a misleading perception of the quality of care they provide. I was even blocked from their Facebook page after posting my initial review in May.

This facility’s negligence and dishonesty have caused immense emotional and financial harm to my family. I am sharing this story to warn other pet owners to ask questions, demand transparency, and carefully vet any emergency veterinary provider. Our pets deserve better care and accountability from the facilities we trust with their lives.
