Brooke, is not a good breeder. She is a backyard breeder that does not care about the health, temperament or well being of her dogs. The female Dane Vixen is a rescue dog that she got off of Craig's List. The poor dog was tied to a tree for 18 months and what do you know, she is only 19 months old. She is not old enough to breed, she is in poor health, and not to mention Vixen was left alone with 3 different male dogs while she was in heat. So who will be the daddy? Who knows! It takes a sick person to even think about breeding a rescue dog and Brooke has actually done it. In my book that makes her more than sick! Buyer please beware of this person. You don't want anything this lady has.

I find your post very interesting Tammy ...

AUTHOR: DougL - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, June 19, 2010

I find your post to be very interesting Tammy since I was the guy who 'purchased' the dog in question for her former owner and I'm the guy who met with you, passed the dog to you to be put with your stud. You seemed fine with the idea of using your stud  at that time! I'm also the guy who drive to NC, to your home, the next morning to 'rescue' the dog from you, after you told Brooke upon arrival at your home you put the former outdoor dog in a crate in your basement and left her alone. I'm the guy who you showed dogs in various rooms in your home, separated because they could not get along with each other, including the one Great Dane who was isolated in a room alone because he would run away.

You seem to have somehow keyed on my referral to my personally considering her to be a 'rescue', even though I purchased her for several hundred dollars, I used that term simply because I "rescued "her from a not great situation. I BOUGHT THE DOG FROM HER PREVIOUS OWNER! How much more clear can I be?

The other breeder, your friend, who was to initiallyto  provide stud services, informed us that after accepting the female at her home kennel, intended to leave town for several days, leaving the coupleing unsuoervised, or with a relative of hers who knew nothing about Great Danes nor about dogs coupleing.  If you recall, her male dog was so freightened that he showed absolutely no interest in mating, nor was our female receptive at that early date. If you recall, that's why the female ws being sent to you.

As for the state of her health issues, as you are well aware the female was seen by a vet who specializes in giant breed dogs the day aftr we purchased her.  There were no p[roblems, she was in perfect health! As for being skinny, yes to a degree that's correct.  The vet stated she is a slim dog, who is still slim. Her weight is well within proper range for a female of her height. If you recall, her eyes were bloodshot from an allergy caused by her being mostly outside. The vet said there was absolutely no reason not to breed her. By the way, the eyes cleard up after a few days on allergy meds.

As a note, unlike your dogs who have to be separated because some of them fight, or in your words to me, want to kill each other, our five Great Danes, the two mix breed rescues and my recued Rottie all get qalong just fine. As I write this, the pregnant female is looking over my should trying to help me type and the others are sprawled in the room with me, on the couch and on the floor.  Six of them sleep in my bedroom and two in Brooke's room.  They are all actual friends.

Oh, by the way, as I noted on the email I sent you a couple of days ago, your lies to my couinty animal control did result in a visit. The officer checked the back yard, fence and the vet records, then apoligized for bothering us, but explained they have to check out all reports they received. Your lies went nowhere. Well, that is not totally correct. After my conversaation with the director of animal control, they will decide, probably next week, whether or not to issue an arrest warrant charging you with filing a fase polioce report.  Telling lies on Ripoff report is one thing, but telling lies to the police is something else entirely.

By the way, how would you know the living conditions or health of my dogs since you have never been here? Oh yes, one other thing. I have an appointment with an attorney next week to discuss libel/slander.

Don't you think it's time for this to end? We will accept your public appology posted here, or I will continue with the other directions.

The Truth Is Not Slander!

AUTHOR: Dane Lover - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, June 12, 2010
Sorry, but the truth is not slander! First of all every dog is different in heat. Most are usually ready between 10th - 15th day and I know some that was bred and took on 5th - 9th day. Again, how do you know for sure??? The blue stud you are referring to had poison ivy and was left alone with Vixen for a few days. The 2nd stud that was a fawn, I know personally. Sorry to bust your bubble but he is an awesome dog and in very good health! I know his owners and I have seen him several times. Seems to me you are the one doing the slander here. I have attached a picture of the 2nd stud that was just sent to me. You tell me what poor conditions he is in!

must we keep going with this really I assure you that divine danes does not want everyone to know what has been told to me by the owner herself through phone conversation's or what these dog's she try's to stud look like and their condition.vixen was not left with 3 males either and was not ready while she was with the blue thank goodness he was so messed up lol. The father is a high quality mantle male who is stunning compared to the other non color pure option's. She is not a rescue and is good health by the way slander is something that cannot be proven ummm boy are you in trouble, vixen was before anything given a clean bill of health her eye's were tested and no problen allergies cause the third eyelid to be red and swell, duh. I am very sure the emails I have would ruin someone if they were to be posted so i suggest that this be the end of it.
