Bud's Service Center in Ames, Iowa is a complete scam. They charge obsene rates, and nearly all employees lie about dates, and times. The owner of Bud's, John Murphy, is an evil-hearted, lying business owner who has no people skills. I don't know how Bud's Service Center can be in business. Bud's Service Center in Ames, Iowa are CROOKS!

Murphy is no longer the owner of Bud's Service Center. I agree that Mr. Murphy is an evil-hearted business owner

Mr. Murphy purchased Bud's Service Center 3 years ago from my father. I agree with the comments as they pertain Mr. Murphy, but not necessarily with Bud's Service Center.
Time will tell and it has. Mr. Murphy is no longer in bussiness and has declared bank ruptcy due to poor business practices. As a result, my father has regained the name and opened Bud's Service Center at a new location on east Lincolnway.
Bud has been in business under the Bud's Service Center name for over 25 years and been very successful up until John Murphy purchased the business. Bud has reopened in an attempt to bring credit back to his name.
Mr. Murphy is no longer the owner of Bud's Service Center. I agree that Mr. Murphy is an evil-hearted business owner with no poeple skills. Bud's Service Center no longer represents those values.
