I guess this was all a bad dream. We have someone that lied to his wife, lied to his girlfirend, lied to me, and is lying on his rebuttal. Well, it goes to show you how people really are. He did get back all of his money for this investment, the home was renovated, and I sold it. He girlfried left him, and he moved back with his wife.

As the title suggests, it is hard to keep track of the lies but the truth will never waver. Mr. Smargissi should look up the word "morals" in the dictionary. As usual he is trying to cloud the truth with issues that dont pertain to facts. HE DID NOT BUY ANY PROPERTY WITH THE MONEY I GAVE HIM. The property address is 951 Magothy in Arnold MD.

Lets address the rebuttal. The use of the word "we". Yes, I purchased a property with $40,000 at 15% over three months. This was borrowed from Sam's partner at the time. He had did not have any ties to that money at all. The personal note was due on April 1st 2003. Issues with the title company caused the repayment of the loan to be delayed until April 15, 2003 for $46,000. A lawyer for Sam's partner was never mentioned and has never contacted me. Now, from the rebuttal, Sam states he tried to contact me and had to sic a lawyer on me to get his money back. If that was the case, would you still do business with me?

Mr. Smargissi recieved a check for $20,000 on April 22, 2003. I have copies of the check.
The third paragraph of the rebuttal doesnt make any sense as well. Any sane person would follow up on a twenty thousand dollar investement. To say that I would not respond is ludicrous.

The lies continue here as he states he invested my money toward that property and it was tied up with the property. Again, look up the property tax assessments. He never bought the property. I have emails and voice mails from Mr. Smargissi swearing that the money is tied up with this property. The property owners phone number is listed. Give them a call, they never heard of him.
It's funny, the only way I could get back my final $5,000 was to sit on his front porch to address the issue.

His reaction to me was that he found out I was lying about this and that and he was keeping it because of the issues he had to deal with on my behalf. I had him tell me what the issues were and I was again handed a pack of lies. Each issue I researched and addressed and provided proof with the facts. At this point, he had to give me my money. He then stated that I "came out smelling like roses" and would like to work with me again.

This contradicts his last statement of not dealing with me after he gave me my money. Again, I have the emails for verification. Obviously, he was directed to this site and is going back to his standard of someone being a liar.

When we asked for the money back that he had borrowed from a friend of ours brother he would say his parents had it and hewould give it back shortly. We called him several times no response. Finally our friend contacted his lawyers and low and behold he got his money back.
