Butcher's Choice ripoff, disgusting meat Novi Michigan

Wow!  I was really really nervous about the meats and seafood my husband and I purchased from Butcher's Choice last week.  After reading the horrible experiences everyone had here, I had a sinking feeling we had just made a very large mistake. 

I have to say, we have tried several different things and all of them were/are very very good.  The chicken was tender, the marinades tasty and the chicken itself very juicy, the filets wrapped in bacon were melt in your mouth good.  The salesman we dealt with was professional, had a truck that was new and was obviously a company truck with a refridgerated unit in the back and the logo on the side.  No meat from anyone's trunk at all! Nothing was dropped anywhere outside, in the driveway or otherwise, he nicely asked if he could show us the product in the house, where he opened everything up on the kitchen table and counters.  His sales pitch was knowledgeable, friendly and up front.  My husband is in the sales industry so he (and I) put up with no high pressure sales tactics as both of us think it is utter crap.  If you have a good product, it will sell itself!  We weren't sure we wanted to pay what he was asking and he counter offered till we felt it was fair. We discussed how he can adjust his prices, it just cuts into his comission percentage - we already knew that but kuddos for him for being honest about it.

We ordered 2 boxes, steak and chicken, and were worried we would not be able to fit it or anything else into our freezer.  The sales guy asked if we wanted him to pack it into the freezer for us and we said sure!  He did a great job, we sat there and watched him. He"threw in" box of seafood as we had plenty of room in the freezer and we expressed an interest in trying it.  He was very up front how he got paid and was willing to work for our sale.  We were dealt with fairly and are really happy with our food. 

The lobster tails are on the small side and the crab legs are too, but we have a big bag of both so I am not too upset about that - we knew it before we bought as he showed us everything before hand.  Maybe it is all about how these guys approach a new customer and how old their stock is?  I don't know, but we were very satisfied with the whole experience.  Just wanted to let others know it is possible to have good experience with Novi Butcher's Choice.

After reading the rest of the complaints I had to chuckle. What is it with their technique of dropping the meat all over the floor? In my case it was the driveway.....
