Please note that I was another customer that was ripped off by buyexoticfruits.com site.  I had ordered on line fruits from them at least twice in 2010 and once in 2011.  The first two times, there was no significant problem except that the products they posted on line were not available (should be a flat to them as they continued to list them)and they came back and suggested a higher price items.  I did agree to pay more for the higher price items and the products were shipped but of low quality.  The third time, I ordered in 2011 (May 2011), after contacting for 4 months, no products were shipped.  Each email was responded back from the owner telling me that he is out of the country and therefore I need to contact his brother.  I contacted his brother and was told to contact the shipping manager. I contacted the shipping manager by calling the toll free number they provided, no answers.  I sent email continuously over the next several months and as well as call them from overseas (since we are based overseas) at our expenses and was not successful.  Emails were unanswered after a while despite a repeated request for a status of the shipment and finally a refund (US$49.98)

I realize that this company sets up many similar sites under different names: buyexoticfruits.com: fruitsofthemonthclub.com (their site is being sued by Harry & David for using similar terms) and a few more (some have shut down).  I have also learned (a little bit too late) that when you order tropical fruits, they are seasonal (regardless of where the fruits are grown).  Reliable sites do not accept your money nor take your order until the right season arrives and when they are ready to ship your products.  This site will list fruits being available year-round - which right away should alert me that this is a scam and they charge your credit cards right away even though the products are not available to be shipped.

Additionally, they will ship products may be for the first several times but after that stop shipping products entirely together as well as refund you.  Therefore, I would question the testimonials that they posted on their site - they are either fake or the customers don't realize the true extent that the owners are cheating them.

Please note that this is the not the first time that I have seen complaints about buyexoticfruits.com and therefore would highly recommend that you do not use their service.  The owner will undoubtedly try to create many other sites (if one is shut down), therefore, please ensure that you do research thoroughly to find out about the operators behind the site and overall service rating
