Hello, I am the manager of the group Second2None from the Antelope Valley. My group participated in a huge event held at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on November 13, 2010. The total winnings as displayed by their advertisement is $10,000 which is to be divided by the 3 groups that won the competition. As you can see, Second2None won 2nd place, which our winnings are $3000, 1st place winnings are $5000(Natural St8), 2nd place winnings $3000(Second2None), 3rd place winnings are $2000(Real Proper Crew).

At 7pm, the coordinator Andrew Rowe who is also in charge of the artists at the event waited about 20 minutes before announncing he will announce the winners later in the week. Well it took about two weeks for a winner to be announced, however during the event the judges were there, Quincy Brown & Paige Hurd. So why wasn't there a winner announced then??? This in my opinion was all a delay to come up with a reason not to pay the winners of this huge event. Several artists were there performing including ColtonB, a friend of Second2None's whom we invited to perform his music at this event.

We have made attempts to talk to Andrew Rowe in regards to paying my group, he has made many false promises even offering a Press Release for the group, wanting them to come in and be interviewed about how well the contest was, and about the winnings that we never received, we declined this interview based on the fact that it would have aided them in their plan to avoid making any payments.

I found out this month by a cameraman who just happen to be in the same room with Mr. Rowe having a conversation about securing a deal with MySpace and how Mr. Rowe had no intention on paying any of the crews but is at his liberty to secure deals with MySpace. We have since contacted a member of MySpace as to the alert. Several artist were at this event as you can see by the website http://calidancefest.com/festival.php.

I would like to have my group come in and do an interview since we now have decided to pursue this matter in civil court.

Thank you,

Ms. Rosalyn
