I am very embarrased to say that I might as well have set $3,000 dollars on fire rather than have been drawn into this dating scam.  Their premise is that if you are in the medical profession or other very time consuming career, that they will eliminate all of the foot work for you so you can just concentrate on meeting peers in a similar profession.  After several months of almost comical inneptitude on their "matchmakers'" part, it is painfully apparent this is not ever going to happen with California Singles. 

The closer, Kathy, spends 1-2 hours explaining how their demographics are just unbelievable, however, on their contract, section 7 says something quite different.  Like most of human nature, when we want to believe something (which they are relying on heavily here) you do not read the contract, which is lengthy.  If I would have just skimmed over paragraph 7, I would never have signed on.  The majority of their contract is an escape clause on their behalf.   

Even though you may have thought that the on-line dating services are scary and very timeconsuming, your odds will be much better and there will be no unbelievably obtuse matches made for you by actual people who already have your funds and have no intention of acquiring potentially compatible matches for you.

This is a shameful business, however they probably do not experience this shame while taking their deposits to the bank.

If I think too much about the charities that could have used this money, it makes me very angry.
