This church did not do its homework before promoting an abusive, deadbeat dad to their leadership team. He pretends to be a christian, when in reality, he is a child abuser who used to handcuff his kid to a bed. He ran out on his family without paying child support for two years, and now lectures others on how to be holy, or what pride he has in his family name. He is a thief and a liar.

Gary Evans continues to lie in church about his two former families and still refuses to take any responsibility for the loss of his family. His own children hate him and refuse to associate with him, yet he mourns not because of that, but because they don't believe in his fundamentalist christian lies. Now he says he wants to take in foster children, when his own stepson left home at age 13 for a foster home because of his abuse. He also dumped his own son at an abandoned building in a large city at the age of 16, leaving him homeless. His hypocrisy never ends.
