CAMCO ripoff Rockford Illinois

Wow I am not alone. After receiving a letter stating I owed $1,904.61 for an old credit card since 1985 this guy preceeded to tell me "Once you owe money you ALWAYS owe the money until it is paid".

Also "there isn't a statue of limitions on old debts." Liar! I have great credit now. Yes it was shaky when I was younger but I have always paid all my bills!This guy said to send him proof that it was paid. How are you going to find proof after almost 20 years?

I have bought cars, houses and refinanced those houses many a time when rates dropped. There was not anything negative that showed up in all that time.

I still have the same address although they do have my maiden name down on the letter.I have been here, at the same address for 20 years.I am not afraid now that I know what a rip off these guys are. What about all those other people out there that don't know,the elderly or the ones that don't have a computer to check things out.Shame on them.I am so thankful for this web page with all its information.
