CamoClad

AUTHOR: Spove - (Canada)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 05, 2017

Not sure what you did but I've used CamoClad 3 times on outboard motors and bottom of doors on a vehicle and over 6 years with Zero issues. Sorry yours didn't go so well but I truly feel safe to say you did something wrong while you were applying it.

Terrible Service from Camoclad

AUTHOR: ranked - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 05, 2012

Very Disappointed!!!Both the product and service are as poor as it gets. I purchased the product and it began to fade after only two years. Its close to three years know and it looks terrible. Faded, peeling and cracking. Camoclad's website states they have a four year warranty against fading. After several attempts from me and the BBB they have not honered their word. I recommend that if your smart enough to have done some research or stumbbled accross it prior to purchasing this product, dont purchase from Camoclad. I have spoken to the owner Joe Warner and have got nothing but Lies. I suppose Joe will have to live with that guilt and I hope it eats on him. I have been as considerate and patient as possible throughout the whole matter. The BBB could not help me and I see on their site that in just August this year Camoclad has been removed as an accredited buiseness. My records from the BBB show that he failed to even contact them after they made numerous attempts. Better luck to you all...Ron

I Agree with the Original Complaint

I have been in the outdoor business as a professional duck guide for 2 decades. We originally worked with Camoclad on our duck truck. All of our material came direct from them and we also had problems with peeling and cracking as well as fading after just one year. After getting discouraged with them not standing behind their products, we left and went with Camo4u. We have been very pleased with the quality of their material and their customer service. We also work closely with Realtree and Camo4u offers their patterns. Camoclad lost the rights to print Mossy Oak and Realtree patterns...

I guess we all have our favorites, but from my expereince, Camo4u is the way to go. The Camoclad material did not hold up, and they did not honor their "iron-clad" warranty... Just kept getting the run-around from them about how the material was backordered, or that they lost power and were a few weeks behind schedule. Everytime I called, it was a new excuse... That is why we gave up on them....

never had a problem

AUTHOR: huntparty83 - (United States of America)

Dude my buddies and I use Camoclad all the time for all kinds of stuff and we've never had issues with it.  I bet between all of us in our group we've probably put close to 10 grand of camo on our trucks, atvs, guns...even other random stuff like a meat color and beer fridge and seriously all of it went on great and still looks great today.

All I can say is if you're having those problems, then you didn't do a very good job cleaning your truck before hand or you did something wrong while you were doing the install because we have camoclad that's at least 5 years old on one of our four wheelers and looks as good as the day we put it on even though we've put the thing through hell over the years riding in and out of the field.

I do know that there are lots of people out there trying to sell camo vinyl from other companies and telling the customers it's legit Camoclad when it's not.  Maybe you got ripped off that way....especially if you got it from Jim Clinton at Camo4U.  He ripped us off years ago so we started dealing directly with Camoclad and haven't had a problem since.
