Canopy Financial Wellfund Froze my HSA Account Chicago, Illinois

I dealt with Wellfund online.  I rec'd the name from the IRS.GOV website for APPROVED HSA providers.  How can they be an approved HSA provider and not be insured under the federal FDIC?  Our HSA accounts should be insured by FDIC and not swallowed up by a bankrupcy from Canopy Financial.  HELP!  This was not an investment account, it was a bank account managed by an approved IRS HSA provider, I don't know what to do, but I'm sure it's wrong that all of the HSA account holders lose their money via bankruptcy.
