Capella Shutter Company Paul Reynolds Incompetent Cheat Internet

Paul Reynolds at Capella Shutter company seemed plausible
when he sold us blackout shutters which were supposed to be fitted in 2 weeks. 

They do not black out, are cracked, don't close, and the expensive blind he fitted is the 
wrong size, colour and type.  Mr Reynolds has no clue how to make or fit black-out shutters,
he does not measure accurately, or use appropriate materials, and he should
have admitted in advance that he cannot do black out as some of his more honest
competitors did.


He claimed to have an 'expert fitter' but turned up himself to fit the shutters, wearing a wig and boasting about his work 'in hospitality'.  The job was supposed to take an hour.  6 hours later he was still at it, complaining constantly about 'the heat'.  He made a mess of our wall, skirting board and slashed a hole in our new carpet.  He got glue on every surface including our silk duvet and to be fair his own wig.


He left the job unfinished, saying he would be back 'with batons'.  Having charged us 180 extra for 'fast-track' he turned up 3 weeks later, without an appointment, and left these batons 'by the bins' outside our building.  This appears to be his excuse for not finishing the job.     

My husband suggested that Mr Reynolds refund us our money and make good his mess, leaving us to start again with someone else.  Mr Reynolds hung up.  He has made no attempt to resolve these issues or give us a refund.
