Do not get a Capital 1 credit card! If you have one, pay it off asap! 
After being a Capital 1 customer for many, many years, I am being charged a 29.4% rate because I was slow paying twice in one year. I am human; I make mistakes. 
I make payments that are more than the minimum required, and I recently made a more-than-$2000 payment. Capital 1 refuses to lower my interest rate, stating their policy of two late payments in a year entitles them to the right to sock me with loan-shark rates.

Also, I filed a dispute with Capital 1 for a payment to 3B Software for a service that I had attempted get canceled and refunded. I provided all the documentation of my attempt to get a refund. Capital 1 informed me that the situation had been resolved. Now the charge has again appeared on statement. The dispute was settled for 3B and not for a Capital 1 long-time customer.

Capital 1 markets itself as helping business. All it does, as I have experienced, is use other businesses to increase its coffers. Capital 1 does not help small business. Capital 1 strangles it.
