Capital Choice Consumer Credit ripoff holding a check sent for credit card and forwarding account info to sister companies whom are billing account for unautorized services fraudulent ripoff Miami Florida

I never thought I would fall for any scam. I am too smart and street wise for that. But these people are very sneeky. it all started when I had recieved a genuine looking application for a credit card which looked like one i had applied for from a previous lagitimate company. The application said for a $39.00 fee I could be approved for a card with up to a $5000.00 limit if I forwarded a check for a $39.00 application fee. I did so only to expect a card with a $200.00 to $500.00 limit as my credit history is not AAA. The check was allways showing up as not cleared or cashed on my online banking system. One day I recieved a phone call from them, they stated that my card was approved and asked if they could send a packet of information about thier services and I said ok. A few weeks later I recieved in the mail a catalogue and order form and a price shhet for the items along with the card. The price sheet listed prices that were highly inflated (about 5 to 10 times higher than store prices) I showed this to my wife along with the card (which had no magnetic strip and no impressed account numbers, we both laughed and figured how foolish would anyone be to order anything at these highly inflated prices. About a week later I recieved another letter from a auto club from a different company stangley located in Florda with a similar address. It list a 1-800 number for customer service. I began to get concerned as the info in the packet said if this company didnt hear from me within 30 days I would automatically be inrolled in the plan and $39.00 would be charged to my account. I Called the 1-800 # right away for about 2 hours per day for about 12 days and allways got a busy signal. After that I gave up and figured that since I didnt authorise this they couldnt do a thing. About a week after that I got a letter in the mail for a long distance calling card for 1000 min. for 3.9 cents a min. from Mega Saver. I never ordered this so I thought it was just another offer that one had to call in to activate. Well just this evening all the pieces of the puzzle fit together. I downloaded my transactions from my bank account to my banking software and saw a strange transaction. An electronic payment to MEGA SAVER for $39.00. Well I didnt know what it was for and contacted my bank right away. They informed me of a phone # from the transaction and I call it right away (1-888-797-8079) a recording said the # changed to (1-800-276-3079) I called that # and a recording said the office was closed and to call between 9 and 5 Eastern time. It sound like the same recording I got when calling the auto club the first time after thier hours. I began to get very suspicous and for some strange reson ran a search for the amount of $39.00 on my checking account software and found a check written to Capitol Choice about 3 months prior. It had not been cashed or cleared by my bank for payment for $39.00 in funds. I then looked for the packet C.C. sent me and also the calling card was found near by. I looked at the calling card address and name it was from MEGA SAVER with the same address as Consumer Credit. It had a 1-800-662-2581 cusomer service # on it so I called and the recording wanted the pin # on the card I HUNG UP AND DID NOT GIVE THEM ANY MORE AMMO. It had another 1-866-844-2646 number and I called this one the recording wanted my phone # this time again I hung up NO MORE AMMO. I got worried and did a search on the internet after about and hour of lookin up a Querry serch Google found your site and I was shocked to see that this was a hugh scam affectin other people in amounts much more than my little $39.00 dollars. These poor people and poor stupid me for falling for this scam. I do not know how to thank you for the site. I am closing my bank account now and opening a new one under a new account number as you have recomended and I will follow up with all the other recomendations you have stated on your site for action agianst this company for the return of my hard earned money. I will also forward $39.00 to you in contribution to the costs and time for which you have put into your site informing the public of these horendous scam activities.
