I just got riped off by Capital first today. Right now as I'm typing this, i'm on the phone with them. I learned the key is to keep calling back. I mean call back!! Whatever you do, do not hang up, no matter who you are talking to. This company took 189.85 out of my checkings account without permission. I did not recieve a package in the mail. Now they are on the phone trying to tell me that they can't send me my full refund back.

I have talked to four supervisors and three customer service reps. I can hear the people in the background telling them what to say. They gave me a fax number to fax them a daft from the bank stating that their company took money out of my account.

Well If I have an account with their company and they can pull that up, why can't they pull up where their company took money out of my account? I'm also looking for people who would like to help me tear this company apart. I want to make this public as possible. For you that is still getting the run-around from this company, keep calling. CapitalFirst are not an affiliate of Master Card International

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Thursday, August 15, 2002

I sent the Master Card Company a email telling them how CapitalFirst was draging their name through the mud. I also gave them this website where they could see for themselves. Master Card International emailed me back, saying that CapitalFisrt are not an affiliate of theirs. They also filed an complaint with the FTC and the National Fraud Information. They asked that everyone who fell victim of CapitalFirst to do the same.

After spending eight hours on the phone with the so-called customer service of capitalfirst. One of the supervisors admitted to me that I should indeed get my total refund back. She said that she know sometimes the telemarketer can get carried away and lie. She also said she has seen this website as well as others about the company (she had no commit).I still haven't recieved a package from them and its been one month in a half. Right after I finished talking with them, I went straight to my bank, talked to the manger, filled out an affidavit, started a new account, called the bbb, ftc, states attorney general, and the customer sentenial. I also sent this website to every news station and letter that I know exist. After doing all of this, I called the companies customer service back, just to get their fax number, which she gave to me. They asked over and over again for my s.s., never give this out. They know who you are and why you are calling. They have your address right? The customer service rep I got on the phone was new. She was laughing the entire time because she couldn't believe what her supervior was telling her to say. After I told her that she can also go to jail for giving out false info over the phone, she started addressing to me that she was saying everything her superivor told her to say. And that it was crazy for me to go through all of this just to get my money back. Please go to your banks and fill out the affidavit. Let as many people as you can know about what happen to you with this company. There are too many of us on this website to just sit by and do nothing. Lets all help each other put a stop to them. Trina
