Previous had Capital One Credit Card with a maximum balance of around $350.00 about four or five years. Could not pay. Reported to Credit Bureau as Written Off. Received offer to repay with new credit card.

Somehow balance is now $950.00. What is this. It can't be legal. Where did the additional money come from? They also want me to pay minimum payments of $85.
