 My story is just like the others. The camera came with a dead battery, I was stonewalled when I immediately asked for a fresh battery. Since then, I've discovered this is one of the dreaded "fake" models much-discussed in tech forums, and the date/time stamp is inoperative. Now, my queries get the response printed below. Note that shipping the unit to the address in Hong Kong (it might be fake, for all I know) costs the consumer $46 from this part of the country. I have notified the Florida Attorney General to investigate this company.
