Cardready provides merchant accounts for companies, they told us they needed to hold reserve money for our Merchant account through the course of doing business with the CEO Brandon Becker, and Jim Berland they captured $2,600,000.00 (2.6 million) to secure our account. Well now after the account has been closed for over 1 year and 4 months, they will not give us our money back.

According to any and all rules with Visa and Mastercard all liabilities are gone and they are supposed to return the 2.6 to us. We spoke to KeyBank, there sponsoring bank, they have informed us that all monies where returned to Cardready. Jim Berland, and Brandon Becker have Defrauded our company and just outright stole 2.6 million dollars from our company and our customers. Can someone help us get back our money and put these crooks where they belong? According to public record they have done this many times before, they have 3 open cases with other merchants. We need help to get it back.

Cardready has just sold out to Total Systems for an undisclosed amount so what have they done with our money???

The Truth

AUTHOR: Drew Padnick - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, November 05, 2009
More than 3 full years, the length of time that I have had to wait before I could respond to this malicious and patently false accusation.  I am very disappointed that Mr. Fisher not only misrepresented himself professionally, but that he intentionally tried to hurt both myself and CardReady by posting in this forum.  With that said, I am happy to have the opportunity to respond.

On June 27, 2006 Mr. Fisher filed suit against me, Jim Berland and CardReady.  We countersued Mr. Fisher on August 24, 2006 as he blatantly misled CardReady about the nature of his business.  On April 24th, 2009 the courts found in favor of CardReady and dismissed Mr. Fishers claims against allparties.  In fact, the courts instead awarded CardReady a judgment of $4,160,750.00 (Please see the attached judgment).

I would like to address Mr. Fishers story specifically as there were many problems with his allegations.  First, the funds taken by CardReady were $560,000, not $2.6 million. /span>Second, these funds were taken as indemnification from Mr. Fisher for losses caused to CardReady.   The losses were the result of Mr.Fishers companies secretly processing for pornographic adult websites (80 different sites or more).   Mr. Fishers companies posed as the provider of support services for merchants selling products by mail order or on the internet.  However, Mr. Fisher hid from CardReady the information about the pornographic web sites even though he was required by his contract to reveal this information.  When the anatomy of his business was discovered by the card associations (Visa and MasterCard), CardReady suffered millions of dollars in damages.  Our suit against Fisher sought to recover those damages.

Mr. Fisher has no standing to criticize or attack others, as he is the perpetrator of fraud.   For those that do not understand the nuances of merchant processing, one should simply appreciate that Mr. Fisher deceived CardReady intentionally.  Had we known the true nature of his business, we would not have chosen to work with him.  Furthermore, all disputes with other merchants have been settled by CardReady.

CardReady is credible and proven having processed on behalf of thousands of merchants totaling billions of dollars in volume.  I am personally proud of our reputation within the electronic payment processing community and am happy to respond to any further questions about this matter.

Sincerely,

Brandon Becker

CEO

CardReady

Wrong Buyer

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

CardReady sold to Total Merchant Services, not Total Systems. Don't know if that will help anyone track them down, but perhaps.

Berland and Becker can be contacted at a business called CashReady which is located in Culver City, CA.
