Carla O'Day participated in decisions at the State Medical Board during her tenure, where she had a colleague from Medical School suspended for disagreeing with another male physician, who then got Dr. O'Day the ER Directorship at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights Ohio - a position she held for a number of years and lots of money.
First, Dr. O'Day was on the governor-appointed Ohio State Medical Board in 1992 through knowing Mrs. Celeste (Governor Celeste's ex-wife). Carla never finished any formal residency training in any specialty - her qualifications were overlooked because of her connections. [The Senate Health Committee in the Ohio Legislature has to have a UNANIMOUS vote to disregard a Member nominated by the then-Governor = a suspiciously faulty procedural rule needing long-overdue amendment/reform.] Dr. O'Day also used this connection during her Medical School years when she would regularly SKIP classes or do Saturday 'classes' at poolside junkets - telling other woman students that she didn't have to go to class; she was in effect a political student admitted for all the wrong reasons. Everything is superficial, raced through, and not diagnostically well-thought out with Dr. O'Day, then you have to fix the mess she blew through. Dr. O'Day can somehow make otherwise reasonable people act irrationally and without forethought.
All Dr. O'Day's past decisions at the State Medical Board, and the cases that she participated in and co-wrote/orchestrated against other physicians, especially women physicians, need third-party review for conflicts-of-interest and irregularities, ie in my case suspending the license of a CWRU Medical School classmate, and ordering her to a pre-fixed Rorschach test that was then allowed judged 'valid' by an Emergency session of the Board acting on Dr. O'Day's misinformation in 1992. Dr. O'Day was this woman physician's competition for even the Medical School class year, then for residency positions, then for contracts/Staff appointments = conflicts of interest. Dr. O'Day refused to excuse herself in this case until the vote was a done-deal; voting on the preliminary suspension/evaluation that she 'fixed'/wrote into a 'confidential' file. This file is still 'confidential' at the State Medical Board even though the Board hasn't been able to prove Dr. O'Day's allegations/charges in 16 years. The record can't be amended or corrected until the 'confidential' comes out. Carla O'Day knew that we'd all gone through extensive psychiatric testing/evaluation in Medical School - no graduate is 'crazy,' even Dr. O'Day. At this time Dr. O'Day was still having problems from a former marriage, bitter; not qualified to judge that another woman physician's disagreement over care with a male colleague was wrong, a psychiatric impairment for the woman, or a matter for licensure suspension/discipline. Dr. O'Day has had plenty of similar problems throughout her career/marriages, with many more male colleagues; she used to take out her problems with her ex-husband by irritating every student, resident, attending and Dean encountered in her destructive path; Carla's 'march to the sea.'
Dr. O'Day, while on the State Medical Board, used her position, and case interventions, to obtain/ensure favored job contracts and/or future appointments for herself - ER contracts for her group - while getting rid of her medical competition and grudges (she hated women students that studied and she carries grudges forever). Dr. O'Day didn't allow this woman physician care-to-function, or even blood work, before having her license suspended for 'making too much of bad orthopedic care' at Hillcrest Hospital - a situation which should have been solved in another administrative review way, and which wasn't on 'first-pass' a reason for anyone's licensure suspension - just significant improvements in care paradigms and referral patterns by certain 'friend' physicians of hers. Carla O'Day had this woman physician ordered to Rorschach testing and psychiatric evaluation, where the Rorschach answers were never recorded and just 'lost,' and the talking-head interpretation was that disagreeing with a more senior male physician, in another specialty, was IMPAIRMENT to medical practice in Ohio when that physician was Dr. Timothy Nice. Physician taxes/IRS income do not matter in Ohio, just Dr. Nice's personal needs and preferences. This was extreme overkill of the situation, and the Medical Board needs to respond to inadequate care situations in other ways - it's not the whistleblower's fault. Most states have a non-punitive pathway for practice care improvements, ie MN, so that improvements can be made at hospitals with staff that trained DECADES AGO, ie Dr. Nice. The complaint was made in good faith because Dr. Nice wouldn't send the medical records, nor stop bothering the woman physician for patient referrals and free use of her office that she shared with her father. [At one point Dr. Nice wanted to tear down the office wall so he could just 'walk through' into the other physician's office.] It was all to get Dr. Nice out of paying rent and not having to get referrals the usual way, ie by doing a good job.
It wasn't the suspended physician's fault that care had deteriorated to where orthopedics at Hillcrest regularly left women patient's fractures uncasted, unx-rayed, unreduced and uncared for while collecting medical insurance fees - that was just the fraud allowed that everyone profited from. [They still allow this to this day at Hillcrest Hospital where being a male orthpedic surgeon trumps all objections/regulations.] The woman physician classmate had complained to the State Medical Board that she could not get her medical records, a cast for a wrist fracture in 3 weeks, or the derogatory comments to stop, so that orthopedic consultants could 'save' the situation. Carla O'Day covered the situation up, watched while the woman physician tried to work with an uncasted fracture, and refused ER help (there was plenty of cast material in the ER and a hand surgeon on staff who wasn't allowed to be called) to allow recasting of the fracture when nerve/tendon problems developed. Dr. O'Day just laughed with everyone else at the woman physician's problems; payback.
Dr. O'Day does not allow that colleagues get 'care-to-function' before turning them in for MEDICAL licensure suspensions, discipline, and a lifetime mess; she refused to meet with this woman physician and her family about the care problems. Dr. O'Day is a mean, arrogant, spiteful, and uncaring physician who patients, colleagues, and attorneys-looking-to-hire-MDs need to stay away from. She's trouble; pages of it, decades of it, courts of it and lifetimes of it.
Later, when attempted to be contacted by one of the woman's physicians that there had been a missed diagnosis causing the fractures, Dr. O'Day filed a 'phone harassment' complaint against the woman physician for trying to contact her about a past error/medical mistake. In 1992, Dr. O'Day didn't have to wait the day for the blood work to be done before the suspension - she just liquored up every other Board Member. With Rocky River Assistant Law Director/Prosecutor Michael O'Shea (her friend), Dr. O'Day contrived to falsify a phone tape and pressure the woman physician to admit to disorderly conduct - by having Mr. O'Shea refuse to dismiss and drag out the case. The woman physician was dragged into Rocky River Municipal Court for over a year that she dared to call Dr. O'Day, made fun of in open court, and the phone tapes, containing confidential medical information, were edited to embarrass the physician, remove all call dates, and delete all pertinent information that might indict Dr. O'Day, ie the pressuring by Dr. Nice to 'understand him as his wife didn't' that was mentioned, the deal to give Dr. O'Day the ER Directorship that was mentioned in the messages, etc. Mr. O'Shea wouldn't dismiss the case, and lied in front of Judge Gravens that the 11 attempts to call Dr. O'Day (messages) were over 2 weeks (not even 3). Mr. O'Shea refused to review the phone records - nothing legal allowed. Dr. O'Day was getting the calls because she was trying to work out a DEAL FOR HERSELF, which Mr. O'Shea knew, with the Medical Board that she was no longer on, because then Governor Taft had requested that her decisions/actions be reviewed with further investigation (2005). But this was an investigation of the Ohio Medical Board investigating itself.
That case in Rocky River Municipal Court needs to be reviewed and the phone tapes assessed for deletions, dates removed. In FACT, Mr. O'Shea admitted that the chain-of-evidence had been BREACHED, but refused to dismiss this unjust case; faulty chain-of-evidence is ok in Rocky River = in fact anyone could edit/have edited this phone tape for Dr. O'Day/Mr. O'Shea at any time past or present. Mr. O'Shea obsessively pursued the woman physician - who needed the blood work admitted by the State Medical Board to get proper care for the missed endocrine diagnosis. With the State Medical Board of Ohio still refusing to admit that the woman physician had an endocrine bone problem needing treatment, the bone condition has continued UNTREATED, and the woman physician (myself) has had to fracture FIVE more bones = medical care of women in Ohio. There wasn't ONE BLOOD TEST allowed in Ohio before Dr. O'Day had the woman's medical license suspended for disagreeing in 1992. Dr. O'Day has had five children and two marriages, but she doesn't allow colleagues one marriage or one child.
The Medical Board of Ohio put out the information that the woman physician was EXAGGERATING HER BONE PAINS, not deserving of medical care and needed just a new 'right' Ohio psychiatrist = Dr. Phillip Resnick. So this woman hasn't had a life for 16 very profitable years for Dr. O'Day. Dr. O'Day likes to call everything 'psychiatric,' and blame her interaction problems on some diagnosis that the other person/husband/attending/colleague has; but there are multiple-digits of psychiatric diagnoses that she seems to encounter. In 16 years so far, the 'other' psychiatric diagnosis of this woman physician hasn't been found - but more GOES at her seem to be the Board's only answer rather than GUBERNATORIAL REVIEW of the case by a third-party. Dr. O'Day has to always be 'right' even if she kills the other person with misdiagnosis, court appearances, false charges and accusations = distract and deter from any life. Mr. O'Shea should be faulted for prosecuting a FALSE case for political gain, but Dr. O'Day's case participation/decision record at the State Medical Board of Ohio needs extensive oversight review, and not by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Governor Strickland likes to allow State Agencies, Boards, Offices, etc. to review themselves until something shows up in some Ohio paper. In this situation, Mrs. Timothy Nice has paid to keep things out of the papers, or to put false stories in The Sun Press with no author = she's on a Board of Hillcrest Hospital and so her husband does what he wants to patients no questions asked.

Michael O'Shea the so called prosecutor of Rocky River has a habit of dishonesty, example chain of evidence. I would be very careful if you end up in RR court you are guilty automatically. Take the time and review his web site. He has set up his own blog that no one has answered. Try to boast him incompetance. Michael O'Shea should not be practicing law. Look the appeal court verdict AFFIRMED...........he is dishonest.

for a woman Member of the State Medical Board of Ohio to run the case to take the license of the Medical School classmate woman physician whose care was 'bungled,' partly by herself and her dysfunctional Emergency Room, as a way of promoting her OWN career in handling the 'threat' - it's more cruel than can be imagined. The 'threat' was not determined because the blood work wasn't ever done Carla - and YOU KNEW THIS = you were 'paranoid' of not getting the Directorship and a multi-year ER contract from Dr. Nice. Like you were paranoid of sitting down and discussing your mistakes with Dr. Heyman and I.
But IMAGINE voting to take a colleague MDs medical license without allowing him/her 'care-to-function,' or needed workup, or blood work (thyroid function testing even wasn't ordered until 2001 when Carla had most of her money) to stop the fracturing - just for money. Many of us might have hated what you represented in Medical School - the glib superficial political student, Mrs. Dr. Magistrate, who could dazzle Deans with the possibility of state monies and her connections - but none of us other women would ever have voted to destroy your life, marriange or health. That's you that destroys those things.
To profit from another physician's fracture/medical care being bungled is the most harm that a physician can do to another physician. But to take a colleague's medical license, because the 'boys & girls' can't admit the mistakes and bungles - is just tragic and sad - what will you think of next?

You are doing a lot of guessing and interpreting using evidence that may or may not be totally factual and may have been altered. Did you miss that when you read the report, or just choose to leave it out? Tell us on your next post.

Dr. Kralik needs to move on. She needs to let this go and get herself some help. I read the Medical Board Report and frankly, Rita Kralik scares me. Her License to Practice won't be restored by stomping harder and yelling louder. That approach obviously doesn't work in this case(thank goodness).
Perhaps practicing medicine isn't a good fit for her.

We will just have to disagree. Unlike you, I cannot bring myself to harass an apparently mentally handicapped individual just for fun, bringing up her past with reports generated by people who POSSIBLY have had specific self serving reasons to say particular things.
When a person is mentally ill, it means just that! They very well may not be able to control what they are saying or doing. Just beating on them for 'sport', which is obviously what you are doing, is very sadistic and very cruel.
Maybe someday you will finally 'mature', grow up, and think "why in the world did I even care if Rita, who may be mentally handicapped, posted those things? What made me think I needed to make her look even worse than her postings do, just for the fun of it?"
Everybody can see by your comments and link, that you are 'enjoying' this sick harassment of a mentally handicapped individual.
Someone like you, who has no evident human compassion and sadness for someone who appears this ill, must be a very special kind of person indeed!
This is my last post to you. You make me sick! Go ahead, try all you can to justify your harassment and apparent 'stalking' of this apparently mentally handicapped lady.

You called the Governor names - blamed this doctor for your not being able to have children, actually sent a letter to the State Medical Board of Ohio with your signature and below that YOUR name and MD behind it !!!!!!!!
You no longer have a license to practice medicine!

Carla O'Day has a double-standard - it's ok for the Obama-Biden to call physicians 11 times every couple days, for every INDIVIDUAL family member, or leave multiple messages/day, when no one in my family (or me) has expressed ANY interest in Obama-Biden - especially as Carla O'Day is supporting the candidates Obama-Biden. Anything that Carla supports our family runs from, no-brainer.
Carla has the Ohio Democrats send fliers to my parents about her - totally gross with frumpy pictures of herself in all her Democratic 'glory.' Carla O'Day MD was was attempted to be called 9 times in 3 weeks in 2005, because of 'serious' neglected medical problems causing stress fracturing for me, only because she cruelly didn't return the calls in any professional manner or at all - couldn't be bothered unless there's something in it for Carla O'Day ($) - has to be in the gym working on her biceps and abdominals, calves, etc. Can't show up in Rocky River Municipal Court on time, has patients to kill or maim at Southwest General. Mr. O'Shea, and every one else, covers and excuses all her insanities and vendettas.
Carla O'Day is a horrible woman, who supports whoever takes her money politically; allows candidates who are into 3rd trimester abortion to call physicians who are pro-life, unlike her, and says it's ok for Obama-Biden to do any number of unwanted calls, 10x worse than anything that I did to contact her. 'Disorderly conduct' was what Obama did - anything went to destroy any credibility of McCain - a decent man who worked with him in the Senate in good faith - a hero unlike what Obama is or ever will be - Obama can't be bothered with the military side of the Presidency.
Carla O'Day needs to stop harassing, hurting and destroying other woman professional's lives. If her friends can call me 2x/day for weeks, then 9 calls in 3 weeks to her, about serious & not political matters, is not 'disorderly conduct.' This frumpy charge for show is needs dismissal and return of all monies for this fraud. If her husband had any brains he would have looked more carefully and for someone with no baggage.
Michelle Obama would be well served to leave Carla O'Day in Cleveland for the next 4 years.

Michelle Obama might want to check on Dr. Carla O'Day's advice for her girls, Dr. O'Day needs to clean up her Ohio messes before getting her Inaugural ball gown on.

Dr. O'Day is a big Obama supporter and Mrs. Obama needs to beware of her medical advice, her money and false friendship. Michelle Obama might not want her daughters declared impaired' for disagreeing with a school classmate, might not want to have her daughters to see one of Dr. O'Day's woman friend psychiatrists for having bone pains after fractures, might not want her daughters beaten up in Dr. O'Day's friend's offices, and might not want her daughters school careers destroyed by a missed or wrong diagnosis, an experimental' Ohio cast. Michelle Obama will want her daughters to have a chance, and not run into the one-way O'Day demolition express.
If Michelle Obama wants to discuss her daughter's blood work, she might be dragged into Rocky River Municipal Court for disorderly conduct' for daring to call Dr. O'Day and say there seems to have been a mistake and please sit down and look at the blood work that should have been ordered 16-18 years ago. Dr. O'Day will count the number of calls and multiply by whatever number comes into her head deleting the dates and embarrassments.
Dr. O'Day goes to extremes to get out of medical anything, and missed the lectures on women's endocrinology at CWRU Medical School - as well as many others she doesn't know about TSH, FSH, estradiols or anything women complicated' just personality disorders and other psychiatric labels if you disagree with her. It's always too complicated' for Dr. O'Day to really THINK about anything beyond the hasty superficial. Dr. O'Day wanted the MD without the compassion, understanding, or even the audacity of hope.
Dr. O'Day's Ohio woman colleagues know how destructive, wrong, and not-nice Dr. O'Day can be if challenged or asked to discuss anything she's always in the gym working on her physique for that ball gown; one of the Cinderella sisters' making sure that Cinderella stays home. Carla and Oprah have their plane tickets, and the gowns have been in the bag' for months now no need to worry.
Carla O'Day needs to clean up her Ohio legal messes before heading out to DC on that plane and advising Barack on women's medicine she needs to open that Harrison's textbook on Medicine that she bought, but never used, in medical school. Dr. O'Day needs to dismiss the false cases, and take back the sexual innuendo and accusations against other women MD colleagues who tried to be her friend, but who couldn't get Carla O'Day to listen or look at the blood work before she ripped them apart for existing and trying to have a life or even one marriage or child. Carla believes in wrecking other's lives and relationships for spite. Carla has had two marriages, and thinks that you are always just trying to be seductive' for her married Dr. Nice friend when you try to discuss anything orthopedic with him never mind that he's a type that only a wife could like. Carla thinks that you go to an orthopedic office to re-break your wrist in front of him for the pain and nobody's got time for that much pain. Carla's a bit daft in the head but the so far the Obamas haven't noticed anything but the money.
Michelle Obama might want to check on Dr. O'Day's record of laying waste before that invitation or appointment. Ask Dr. O'Day about thyroid diseases after all the Bushes had that problem after living awhile in DC and the Obamas are going to live in the former Bush house. The Carla vision board' doesn't include anyone but her opinion, diagnosis or assessment and that isn't always a good thing' for anyone else even the Obamas.
