Carnival Cruise Lines They will Not refund your money, Internet

I booked and paid for a cruise 5 months in advance - according to the terms and conditions if you cancel your cruise 2 weeks before the departure date you get 1/2 you money back ..2 weeks before my departure date  I had to cancel my vacation and called Carnival -- they said I would only get the taxes back ($39)  .. when the money wasnt returned to my cc card I called again ( after the cruise ended) they said I didnt cancel my cruise so I dont get any money back -- Carnival must be in such bad shape they have to rip consumers off --
