Hello Everyone, here are the actual facts regarding the review by "Matt" (his chosen username for this web site) and his purchase.  Matt purchased a new DEC brand Catalytic Converter on our web site on 6/24/2016 at 10:20AM.  One of the conditions of checkout is agreeing to our 90-day return policy, which Matt did.  We provided the item as promised, and it was delivered on Friday, 7/01/2016 at 8:44AM.  We followed up with Matt by sending three emails: an order confirmation, a second email with the tracking number, and a third email notifying him that the item was delivered.

We never heard from Matt again until 2/17/17, almost eight months later.  Matt said that he no longer needed the item, and wanted to return it for a refund.  Matt acknowledged that he agreed to the 90-day return policy during checkout, but said that he did not care about our 90-day return policy and that he would write negative reviews about our company all over the internet if we did not comply with his demands.   We advised that catalytic converters do not have an unlimited shelf life, and that our credit card processor is unable to issue refunds after 60 days.  (We issue store credit for returns between 60 and 90 days after purchase.)

Matt stated that department stores like Nordstrom's accept returns regardless of purchase date, and demanded we provide the same unlimited return policy, even though he had agreed to our 90-day return policy at the time of purchase.

Even though our company provided the exact item ordered per the purchase terms, in a prompt and professional manner, Matt is now making good on his extortion threat to smear and libel our company all over the internet.  DEC brand products are very high quality and are certainly not substandard.  We certainly provided an order confirmation (invoice) via email.  And we certainly do not refuse to accept returns.

Our store's customer service department is right here in the USA, we have an "A+" rating with the BBB, and a huge following of honest, loyal customers.  We welcome all prospective customers to check our BBB rating for themselves when deciding whether or not to shop with us.
